I<\/span><span lang=\"nl-NL\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> specialized in historically informed performance practise on period instruments for music from the Baroque period up to the late romantic era. Next to that, I love playing modern and contemporary music. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Early music groups I play with in season 2025\/2026 are, among others, Concerto K\u00f6ln, Barockorchester &amp; Kammerchor Stuttgart, Main Barockorchester and my own group <a href=\"https:\/\/nuernberg-barock.de\/\">N\u00fcrnberg Barock<\/a>. On modern bass, I make and perform music theatre at the Theater Pf\u00fctze in Nuremberg, I play chamber music with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ensemblealmanach.com\/\">Ensemble Almanach<\/a> and I am a substitute player with groups such as the Residentie Orkest and Het Muziek ( formerly ASKO|Sch\u00f6nberg) in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to donations from the Stichting Eigen Muziekinstrument and the Adriana Jacoba Fund, I could purchase two double basses to use for\u00a0 historically informed performances: One anonymous instrument from around 1890 and a copy of a Stadlmann, made in 2023 by Christiane Mitschke. Next to that, I am grateful to play a beautiful modern instrument from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.muziekinstrumentenfonds.nl\/\">Dutch Musical Instruments Foundation<\/a>, made by Harry Jansen.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am Eva and I work as a freelance double bassist and violone player.
